I got sucked in and watched the Seattle Slew one also. I didn't realize he had so many setbacks.

Yep, tough somegun right there!!!! We owned a grand daughter who was the spitting image of him including the right front leg that was slightly bowed out at the shoulder. After she foaled the people that she was boarded with thought she had a bit of a infection so I had the vet out immediately, she walked around the corner and says "That's a Slew horse isn't it??" When I said yes, she said "If I didnt' know I was out here to do a flush on a mare I'd swear it was him himself, I was at vet school when they did the surgery on him." After she flushed her she walked around and around her marveling at the likeness, LOL!!! She had so much fun looking at her she didn't even charge me the farm call!
