Location: NW. Florida		I've got to replace my fencing and was just wondering, if I replaced my wooden corner post and braces with pipe what size would I need.  I may do wire in between the braces at this point.

Most common pipe sizes are oil drilling pipe for corners and H's inline supports for wire fences.

Use the 5 post corners with 2 H's each direction to keep corners from pulling out
of the ground over time concreted in 3 ft deep ...

2 7/8 pipe for post and 2 3/8 for cross members. Don't forget the pipe caps to be welded on the tops of your pipe posts. ... keeps pipe from rusting too quickly down in the ground ...

Hang any gates 6 inches taller than top pipe on fence to take horse pressure off of gates... get to know what a pipe hinge is and weld your gate hardware to it ... the pipe sizes above will slip over each other to make pipe hinges ... and make 3 post // 2H supports for the hinge side of the gate for long term stability ... if hung at a corner you will already have the 3 pipe post setup ..

Both pipe sizes are available in new rejected pipe that did not pass pressure tests vs used pipe that have been drilled thru salt water ... compare pricing .. new is not much more than used in Texas/Okla.. buy the new..
