I am looking at the FX3's. For those who ride in them, do you feel like you can't get forward if you want/need to? That was my biggest turn off to treeless was that I couldn't move and felt like I couldn't get forward when I wanted to.
(Apples to Oranges on the comparison lol

I just got a FX3, have ridden in it for about 2 weeks and didn't have any trouble getting forward. It's a very secure feeling saddle which I love, yet I don't feel trapped in it. I can move however I want, I can move my legs where ever. Overall I'm VERY happy with the saddle but it doesn't fit my gelding so back to the drawing board we go.

I'm ordering one this week! I'm so excited! I have gone through the fitting and demo process with Martin and will be getting one with flat bars to fit my big, flat backed horse. I have not yet sat in an FX3 because the demos were Crown C's, but Brian at Martin and I think the FX3 is what will fit me best. It should help me sit down deeper on my pockets in the turns and keep my feet out in front of me while still allowing me the freedom to get up and over my horse when needed.

Omg I am so loving my new Fx3 I had 2 crown c and I never really liked the feeling of being on a more forward saddle . the horse im running now is a free runner so I decided to try an fx3. I called equibrand and they overnighted me one to try and from the moment I got on it it felt more centered my shorter legs were a little more under me and I felt instantly more secure. It only took me 3 rides and 1 competitive run to buy one. Shout out to Jesse at equibrand for his awesome customer service. I bought my fx3 from a bit of tack and have already made another competitive run in the new one love love love !!!! Way better than crown c imo Martin got it right.

I have to say i ran in my moms Crown C the other day and on her horse its the perfect saddle. Hes the type you have to hustle and it works for him. We were discussing it for my mare when she comes back from injury but shes a free runner and you really need to sit. Glad to know the FX3 is the opposite
