Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | I obvisouly know what Latte has done but does anyone on here run one or a grand get?
I have the option of buying a granddaugher for really cheap. I have not seen her papers yet so I am not sure what the bottom side is. How easy were they to start on the barrels any quirkiness to them? |

| I bred my mare in 13 to a son of DFP - "Captain Perk" - hes a 1D horse locally and has other accomplishments that i can't remember. So my filly is a yearling now, smartest little thing I've ever come across with a giant behind! Lol
Edited to add - This filly never once had any issues learning to tie, walks through puddles and over tarps, lunges, yields hind/forequarters, all without much trouble, meaning she sometimes thought in the beginning that the lunge whip was trying to eat her and she would run around me really fast in circles or rear up at it. But ill say that was her just being a kid :)

Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs | I had one several years ago. I think she came to the world broke. Was the easiest filly to deal with and never bucked a day in her life. Give me a barn full of them. |

Location: North Dakota | I broke out, trained on barrels, futuritied, and now have back in for consignment a one-eyed grandson. He is super super nice!! Big and athletic. Big powerful stride but has a natural huge stop. He is very raty and a big turner. He has been fun...a challenge with only having one eye but it doesn't phase him. |

Location: Desert Land | I had a DFP daughter out of a big time producing Disco Jerry daughter. She was such a cool mare, very quiet and easy. Had 1D earning under Add Waddell. I had planned to start running her and unfortunately, one of my other horses kicked her in the hock and she suffered a career ending injury, so she's a broodmare now. |

| I have two own daughters one I rode the other I bought as a broodmare she was a 1-D proven mare. Both mine are easy to get along with but are divas if that makes sense. Both are super gentle with no buck and big bodied, HUGE strided horses. Very smart that want to please from my experience and are a natural on the barrels. They are ratey horses though I would definitely want a lot of run on the dam side. I've also rode a grandson that is the same way. |

| *I* haven't ridden him yet, but I have a 4yo son in training. Other than being fixated by 'new' things, he is a big ole puppy. We did finally figure out that he was not going to respond well to being bitted, so now he's being ridden in a halter and STILL has a nice stop. I'm sure we'll have to find something with more 'whoa' when speed gets added, but for now he's a happy camper and I can't wait to ride him! |

| Mary Walker runs a son of DFP. I think Jane Melby's child runs a son or daughter. I think Michelle McLeod's daughter runs a daughter of DFP. All of them are quite successful. |

Location: Illinois | I am looking at a weanling granddaughter of DFP currently. She doesn't have a strong maternal side however. What is something like this worth? I mean there is nothing noticible on the dams side until like 5 gens back! Trying to make sure I do not over pay. |
