I have to say thats one perk of living on an island that has no poisonous anything lol. I leave shoes outside all the time and besides the occasional caterpillar they are empty. I would have freaked out!!

Wait....do you have snakes of any kind? Even non poison ones scare me!!!

Occasionally a garter snake. And when i say occasionally i mean i think ive seen 1 or 2 in 20+ years. I think ive seen more dead snakes in the hay then live here. We have alot more human snakes then animal ones ;) heck people were freaking out about a coyote running around out east.
