Does anyone ride the day of their adjustments?  I got bucked off hard last Saturday and something is out in my lower back.  It pops every time I rise while posting.  I can't afford to not ride for the next two days, but I also can't do much like this...

I got adjusted 4 days in a row last week because of an injury, and I rode every day.  The first day, I just eased around, but after that I went back to normal routine.  I had a nerve that was pinched and aggravated for 3 weeks and it has completely resolved.    My mom fussed at me for riding, but the chiro was fine with it.

My chiro begged me to back off the hard stuff until my muscles started to hold my spine in the correct position. Then I went back to normal, and just saw the chiro for maintainance.

I get adjusted 3-6 times per month & almost always ride regardless. The only time I don't is if I am hurting. Listen to your body.

Thanks everyone!  I don't go very often, but I do know that last time I went he told me to take it easy for the rest of the day... I don't know that riding a bucker will be "taking it easy" so we'll probably just lunge that day! lol

My chiro knew that asking me not to ride especially leading up to Pendleton was like telling someone not to breath, so he just had me come in more often for the first few weeks to try to stay ahead of the issues.

I usually don't ride the day of the adjustment. I try to let the adjustment settle and I usually try to listen to my body.
