Location: WA		 At one time I had a sample sitting on my desk that was crystals that went in your arena.  They absorbed water and when arena started to dry out the crystals released the water to keep ground moist. 

Has anyone used these?  Any other arena conditioning products besides water trucks?  We have deep sand and it is not good with our hot dry summer!  Arena is a quarter mile from the house and has no water for sprinkler systems.  Thanks!

Josey's uses some sort of artificial turf. They have it brought in every year before the big barrel races. I can't help you on the name.
