Location: Texas | I have raised and trained three out of him. I get along great with that bloodline. All were quick learners and really want to turn a barrel and work. They can be on the nervous side, but if you work on keeping them relaxed and quite they do well. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone who gets really nervous before a run. Even though I am partial to his offspring and my two finished horses run 1D-2D local here in TX, you don't see many stand outs or many excelling at futurities or rodeos. |

| All that I have seen are hot. Most work pretty nice here at local stuff. I am located in the same town as him, so we see a lot of his babies. They work good, but as others have said, hot. |

Location: Pilot Point, TX | We currently have two - a two-year-old we raised and a four-year-old that we bought several months ago that, through no fault of his own, got behind. We LOVE them both! The two-year-old is already slow-loping a very pretty and correct pattern, and the four-year-old is catching on so fast that we are considering substituting him for our BFA entry this winter.
The two-year-old hasn't done anything to make him hot yet, but the four-year-old is starting to be pushed at exhibitions, and he hasn't gotten up or hot yet. However, we'll keep that in mind now as we go along.
Both of ours have wonderful, want-to-be-your-buddy personalities. The only other thing I have heard, which hopefully applies to the four-year-old, is that some don't get big until late in their four-year-old and into their five-year-old year. Someone told us she sold a colt because she thought he'd be too small for her, and then saw him the next year and didn't recognize him because he'd grown so much. |

Location: Never in one place long | I agree, they are "hot" or seem to be! Mine also had the Duke head but she was a full sibling. I like their catty personality and drive though. I wouldn't mind another from him.. |
