The BHW Book Worm Posts: 1768	We have 5 weeks till everthing is moved and today I'm working on grooming the 2.5 ac. grazing plot. What do some of you use to spray for weeds. We have a lot of rag weed and another type of weed that I can't seem to figure out what it is. (Looked at 161 pictures of weeds via k-state identification page and nothing even came close) the grass that primarily grows is prairie, fescue, brome, and buffalo.

I try to use something with a longer residual then say 2,4-D. I myself use ForeFront however, I think they are changing the name of it to Grazon NXT. The really nice thing with that is you do not have to have a restricted use license like you do with Grazon or Tordon. Your best bet though is to talk to either of the 2 mentioned sources. Sideways Riding Expert Posts: 11371 Location: ND--it snows, it floods, it snows, it floods	To clear up some confusion....GrazonNext or GrazonNXT is the same as ForeFront and may be sold as GrazonNext down south but is sold (for now) as ForeFront up north. Grazon R&P is a different (but similar) active ingredient and is restricted use. Grazon R&P will not be readily available as the supply runs down. Dow Chemical is making a effort to move towards the GrazonNext (NXT) formulation.

Accident Prone Posts: 22277 Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR	My hubby usually recommends Grazon to people. We use Grandstand, a rice herbicide with the same active ingredient (triclopyr), because it's cheaper and easier for us to get.
