Location: 31 lengths farms | Thank you everyone and thank you Jake16 for the kind words. My momma was a very special human, I'm going to have a very tough time learning how to do life without her physically in it. The touch of her hand and the sight of her big blue eyes could always "fix" my world, even if it was just for the few hours I was there. My daily routine was to go down to the facility she was at, me and my little dog, and have lunch with her. Suddenly lunch isn't so appealing. I am so glad she is once again a young beautiful woman running and playing with her sister Peg and watching over us from above as well as able to do her beloved water paintings again. Selfishly I miss her here though. And I hope she is happy with the fact we found the old vase/urn that her and her sisters had bought, they found 3 alike at some rummage sale in Nebraska 20+ years ago and had decided they would all get one and have their ashes put in them when it was time. Mom drug hers home and stashed it in a back room. My sisters and I were looking at these beautiful wood boxes with nature scenes on them thinking how they reminded us of the paintings mom did and my dad says "oh no, mother has an urn she wants to be buried in, its somewhere around here...." My sister Penne went out to the house and dug thru stuff and fortunately or unfortunately ;-) found it. It was not the prettiest thing I've ever laid eyes on but I can see my mom and her sisters buying them, mom letting the two younger ones pick theirs and her taking the left over (or that is what it looked like to me, LOL) but there was also a reason she kept it for so many years so we honored her wishes and that is what she went to her resting place in, a gray enamel urn with bright pink flowers on it and I have to laugh, my mom used to always say "pink pink, you stink..." and guess which one of them got the pink flowers??? She always was a good sport.

Location: Arkansas | Very beautiful lady, and I can tell from the way you talk about her that she was that way both inside and out. I can also tell from the way you post that she raised a wonderful daughter to follow right in her footsteps. . . Many prayers for peace being sent your way |
