What are the best pads for HI WITHERED horses with a hollowish sot behind their shoulders? I always used CLASSIC EQUINE Contour Fit pad (Felt on top, neoprene on bottom) and was just going to buy another one of those but cannot find one that matches the thickness or quality of my old pad.

the hollow spot is apathy (sp?)....I would look at a bio fit, I see best ever pads have a line similar to the biofit pad.

Professional choice air ride Ortho. They have a built up part for behind the shoulders. I actually cut one apart that my dog ate and used it as shims

I just bought a Todd Sloan with built up shoulders for mine.  The extra padding is farther back than most padded ones.
Just looked like it would be more where I needed it.
I've tried a BioFit.  Padding was too far forward for me.

Reinsman PEP pad... It's cut back at withers so it won't pull down plus it had pockets and inserts for shoulder area. It has been awesome for my gelding that's very high withered!
