Yet somehow I have heard about ferguson protestors, and not a **** thing about what happened two days ago in China????? That's messed up. Many prayers for China and all the people affected by this. I watched a few videos and it is unbelievable. |

I'm sure the numbers are that high but I don't believe we ever got the true numbers from Tienanmen Square. We won't here either. |

The warehouse, designed to house dangerous and toxic chemicals, was storing mainly ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate and calcium carbide at the time of the blasts, according to police. The official Xinhua news agency has said several containers in the warehouse caught fire before the explosions.
Chemical safety experts said calcium carbide reacts with water to create acetylene, a highly explosive gas. An explosion could be caused if fire fighters sprayed the calcium carbide with water, they said.

Not to mention the chemicals that were released into the air. This was already a city shrouded in thick smog, add in all these new chemicals, it is truly a disaster... Praying for all those affected. |
