Location: Mountains of VA		I normally love fall and look forward to all the activities and food that goes with it but NOT this year. I usually look back and feel a sense of accomplishment with whatever horse/horses I have been riding and hauling. I'm just depressed that the year is coming to an end and I only got to exhibition twice.

Another year gone by........my 3yo started out riding great, slow loping a great pattern, THEN he developed some lameness issues which means he will probably be just a trail horse. I have nothing to compete on. All my other horses are youngstock, broodies or stallions. UGH I sick of my husband saying just sell the youngsters and buy something to compete on..........we all know that is easier said than done. Every year goes by and I'm not getting any younger.

O.k. enough of my pity party..........on a positive note, we do have some terrific squirrel dogs and I always enjoy going hunting with my dog.  The weanlings, yearlings and 2yos are looking good, we are proud of them. Just wish I had been able to compete on one of our horses.
