| I entered 2 horses for a race, 3 weeks prior to the race, entered by calling in and giving CC# to pay for runs. Given 45 and 85. Youth starts at 2, open to follow the youth. 2 days before the race I contact producer via producers FB page to ask how many youth, tell her we are trying to gage when we need to get there for first run. Producer answers with # of youth but does not say there is a check in time. We get to the arena around 3, open has not started, a friend says you need to check in, I go to the office and learn that runs 1-50 were suppose to check in by 1:30 and they have given 45 away. I ask where are the rules stated, they are not on the flyer and there is no reference to look for rules anywhere else. She said we put it on the FB page this week, a second page that was created for the race that I had not joined so I did not get updates. This happened to several people. Next available # is in the 200's. Isn't a paid run just a scratch if no one shows?? The point of pre entering and paying ahead is to avoid having to get there 4 hours before your run and announcing the "rule" the day of the race doesn't help if you are not there to hear it. If you want rules, post them!!! Not everyone gets on FB. Rant over.

| I refuse to go to a barrel race that has no rules. Not everybody goes to specific sites when they get on face book. I also hate producers that make the rules up as they go a long. I would not go to their barrel races. |

| And to top it off, after going through all that with them and being pleasant, I go find my daughter who was the one running to tell her what was going on and they make an announcement. "we have been announcing all morning you have to check in, I f you had 1-50 check in was 1:30, don't come up here at 3:00 expecting to have your pre entry if you didn't check in." Gawd, there were no rules posted! 63 was a confirmed scratch so we got that #. I asked if 1-50 had to check in by 1:30 when was the check in for 51-100,etc, I see several names that are not highlighted as checked in? So arbitrary. |

| To be honest, I have been to maybe two barrel races where you had to check in. One was the APHA World Show. We checked in and had the bit inspected the day before. |

| Another gal running had pre entered in the first 10, called on Thursday, said I will not be able to be there that early, can you give me a later #, sure no problem, gave her a later #, no mention of check in in by 1:30 which she obviously could not do if can't make her early #, she shows up and learns they have released her run # because she was not there at 1:30. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | That was not very nice of them to get on the loudspeaker and say that. I would avoid their shows in the future if that happened to me. It would have really been a mess if it was me, because I don't do Facebook at all! Yeah... you got messed over! |

| If rules aren't up before pre-entry deadline, I won't enter. Sorry, Facebook isn't a piece of everyone's life. |

This is an example why I love the Wrap N 3 races. No surprises and No BS. |

| I looked at both of their pages, the only post referencing a check in time was made the morning of the race and was for 1-25. |

Location: Oklahoma | SMH. They don't want to their shows to grow when they treat contestants like that. Sounds like there were several who were not treated right. Entry fee is paid. If you don't show up at the alley to make your run. . they scratch and move on. |
