Well, I am almost at the 8 week post-surgery mark and I am soooo excited about getting to ride again.
I have my post-op check up on Monday and I have been getting better every day. I had some small setbacks but for the most part I am healing fine. I have been doing my evening walks as usual and I know I will have to regain a lot of strength but I am absolutely ready.
The HRT has been an issue but I guess once I get it all balanced life will be pretty darn good. I have had some insomnia and a few migraines due to the fluctiations in the estrogen but I can see the horizon from here.
I will be back on my horses on Sunday. CAN NOT WAIT!!!

So happy and excited for you! How are you feeling??
I have a large fibroid removal a week ago so I am also on a break from riding!

Y'all's support is greatly appreciated.
BRD, I feel much better this week and even better than two weeks ago and so on. It is major surgery and it takes more energy out of you than you could ever imagine.
Did you have robotic surgery for your fibroids? I sure hope you get to feeling better because the pain is the pits. Take it easy and take good care of yourself while in recovery.

I couldn't stand it yesterday and had to ride. I rode for over an hour just walking the trails........IT WAS AWESOME!
I will head out to do it again in a few hours.
