I don't have access to omnis cubes but a friend of mine feeds the FSI brand oat/alfalfa cube and I was amazed at how SOFT and easily broken up these cubes were. My horses seem to really like them! From what I can find online they are a reputable company that uses high quality forage for the cube. Just wondering if anyone else uses them. Thanks.

I have used their alfalfa/bermuda cubes. They seemed pretty hard to me but I don't really have anything to compare to. I always soak them and my horses love them.

I have only seen their alfalfa/Bermuda cube and it is very hard and low in protein. Alfalfa/Oat won't be as energy dense as pure alfalfa but will be softer because of the oat hay. It could be a good choice for a softer cube. From what I read, they don't give percentages of hay used. You might ask them. Personally, I would not prefer any cube that used more than 25% oat hay. Even then, oat hay can be pretty good or pretty bad. The quality of oat hay would be very important to me. I would give them a try and see what you think. They appear to be a reputable company.

Many of the alfalfa/oat cubes are oat hay. Omnis cubes use the oat grain. Sometimes this can be a bit misleading. Not that oat hay is bad, it's just a different cube with different attributes. I hope they work out for you.

I like them and have had good luck with them. They're super nice for long weekends, the ponies just get a big tub and a bag of cubes for free choice. They've done great and my little cow mare looks great on them.

I feed the alfalfa/bermuda cubes to my three. No trouble so far with them eating it. They have been on them for about 8 months or so. Much softer than the Standlee cubes. I never did have a problem with the Standlee as I soak mine anyway. I also feed the Standlee alfalfa/oat cube. It is softer and my older gelding loves them. I also feed the alfalfa/timothy cube. They seem to like the variety.
