Asked me this morning of I knew where he could buy a horse!! He
Wants either a stud or a mare.
"Paper?? What's that?? I want it unbroke so I can get it cheaper, and I don't really care how old it is."

Hmmmmm...... Let me think on that one!! SMH!!

I feel like a 2 year old stud would be perfect for this guy!!  On a serious note I hope he changes his mind too. Or someone stops him from hurting himself instead of seeing him coming from a mile away and take advantage of his lack of knowledge....

I don't know which is worse - that or someone loaded with money, a fancy trailer full of well bred, well trained, high dollar horses at a local barrel race accepting a whip from a young girl (maybe his daughter) while they are calling his name to come running, and he proceeds to whip the horse between the ears...takes a few more steps towards the alley and is whipping the horse on the head some more - the horse did nothing wrong -- it seemed like he intended it to be a warning to the horse, maybe, but it made me sick to my stomach.

Turn them in for animal abuse and they can be expelled from most associations.

I went to a jackpot this weekend that was hosted by a local riding club. I could not tell you how many horses I saw get their teeth floated by youngsters slamming them down in the ally after their run, or people (seemingly inexperienced) doing things that could really get someone hurt. Things you see sometimes lol.

Maybe a mule would be perfect for him or her.

My brother was riding his mule when the neighbor asked him, "That a stud mule?" Brother answered, "No, sir. "

"I ain't got no use for him then."

The kid at the feed store reminded me of myself when I was 8 or 9. We were expecting our first foal and I told everyone I wanted a filly or stud colt. I had no use for a gelding!

Or....how about the people who want to breed their grade mare to a stud because their horse is so AMAZING and wants a baby out of it.....
