Location: Oklahoma | So sad but true! I dont have kids either but I see the adults at work that cant make it without their phone! one boss told a co-worker he would pay him $20 to leave his phone in the car in one shift. He turned him down. :(( i woulda done it but he said he knew I would why the offer wasnt made to me lol |

You make me laugh!!! Early last year the McDonald's just down the road got a new manager.. HIS FIRST DAY.... he walked out front and the girl working the front counter was texting on her phone while a customer waited to order. He told her to take that order... and she said "I'm busy".... That's the only time I've ever seen a manager fire someone right out there in public!!!

Location: Oklahoma | Oh my gosh I should have clarified! lol Its on our break time. We work at a casino no phones allowed on the floor but we can have in the break room. Manager was messing with him because as soon as he walks in he heads straight to it! He is not the only one! Its crazy how some are addicted to it! But if anyone has on floor they would be fired! very strict rules. Sad there has to be rules for phones! and for adults at that! |

I teach High School and we are ENCOURAGED to use our phones!!! Our district is a 1:1 district. All students (15,000 plus)have a laptop provided them and we are encouraged to use social media and devices in class. Its the way of the future, why fight it, embrace it. |

That would have been nice when I was in school lol.
My husband's mom called him while he was in school one day to tell him that his grandma was in the hospital, she busted her head open. It was in between classes, and he was in the hallway. Our algebra teacher ran him down, and took his phone from him. Then talked to his mom and I guess didn't believe that it was really his mom... then she hung up on her. It was about 5 minutes later she had one mad mommy at the school.
Back in my day lol, all we had was snake... lol |

i guess i don.t see it that way yes i am on during the day but i am self employed if i had an employee negative not on my time
scool they there to learn not face book or email or texts
but i am old scool and i am not apolgizeing for it |
