Nevertooold - 2015-10-03 11:57 AM I'm Windows system stupid also.

I keep hearing that 7 will soon not be supported and I need to upgrade. Is this true? Isn't XP even older then 7?
I started out with Winblows 3.1 that had to be loaded over DOS 6.22. Yes! XP came before WinBlows 7.

I loved XP!

It seems just like what they do with cars, when they have something good they have a mission to screw it up.

TRUE HERE!! Just look at the Mustang today!!

Anniemae - 2015-10-03 2:01 PM Both my work and home lap top have Windows 10.  I' don't have any problems.  I've used them for 1-1/2 years.

Please explain....Windows 10 didn't launch until July of THIS year......

beta.....
Before a commercial software program is released to the public, it usually goes through a "beta" phase. During this stage, the software is tested for bugs, crashes, errors, inconsistencies, and any other problems.

Apparently, the testing didn't work so well....

I downloaded Windows 10 professional on my PC 2-3 weeks ago and have had no problems. The computer starts up quicker. Guess I am lucky. I still have Windows 7 on my laptop.

My  work computer is XP and most items still work even though unsupported. Vista came after XP, I don't know it's status.

I am doing pretty good with the Windows 10 update here too. I finally relented and downloaded the update. It was screwy at first, but is fine now. Now going from XP to 8 was a stretch. It took me awhile to catch on.lol
