Location: MD | It's a mule mouth o ring. As with any bit, can be very severe in the wrong hands, although this bit is far more severe by nature. Most on here will simply come on and tell you why this bit is absolutely horrible and should not be produced ;) |

Location: North Dakota | That is a cruel, harsh bit that some refer to as mule bit or just bike chain bit. If you have any respect for your horse I would recommend finding something that isn't painful. |

Lol you called it ^^
All bits have their place. I've used this bit before on a few horses and one really liked it. If you are light with your hands, it gets a good response out of harder mouthed horses. My old high strung pole gelding ran in one for a few months while I was waiting on my chain nose JW hack to arrive. He liked it better than the twisted wire combo he had been running in, but preferred the hack once we got it (just didn't like his mouth being messed with a whole lot). You can find these is about any good tack store. Both of the good ones around here usually have a few snaffles and shanked bits with this mouth (in their section of thousands of bits, some harsher than even this). I would ride in one of these before I rode in a small twisted wire, JMO. |

You sound like you've been hanging out on the Facebook "Tacky Tack" page. |

Location: Broxton, Ga | http://lwbits.com/Mouthpieces.html L&W have that mouthpiece and can put on several type bits. You can use the saw side and turn around once you get the sensitivity you're looking for. |

Location: CA | A lot of horses find it quite comfortable as it conforms to the tongue and makes it easier for some horses to carry. Especially those with a low palate. Horses that like this bit will *usually* like a chain mouth as well, just in case you have a hard time finding this one. |

I'm not a "french link eggbutt only" person but bits like this do not belong in a horse's mouth. |

| If you have enough finesse you can ride in anything! I've noticed a majority of people who try tu use the lighter bits cause themselves more problems making there horse luggy and unresponsive. If the person who uses the French Eggbutt whatever lol hats off to you if your horse is light and unresponsive when your running at a show (no offense meant)

Location: Utah | I have a friend that likes this bit. She has had multiply shoulder surgeries and this bit allows her to ride without having to have the arm and shoulder strength she is now needing and lacking. |
