| 2 chronicles 16:9. For the eyes of The Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.
On the day we marry, the word commitment took on a new meaning. Commitment meant I'd put his desires above my own.
When we have children commitment went to another level. It meant staying attentive to their needs, it meant sacrificing your time, your energy, and desires for another.
Ethereal are other places we are committed to, our homes, our commintities , our church,. In each of the areas our dedication and our commitment is seen and appreciated by others.
I don't know why " committing to Jesus" is a concept that's hard to grasp. So many times we want leaders to tell us the Do's and don'ts of our Chrisitan walk. Give me list to follow and ill,check off each box.
That wouldn't work if or our other relationships, so why do we think it'll work with Jesus? Instead we need to show our dedication just like we do to our spouses, our children and friends. It means putting Jesus first, listening and loving Him. It's putting His desires above our own. It's also staying attentive and sacrificing our time, our energy and our desires. It means journaling , praying, fasting, or studying with other believers. When. I feel He's called me to. Task, it's doing in and working with all my heart.
The best part is that Jesus takes notice of our commitment. There may be times when our friends, spouses and especially our children don't appreciate our effort, but our dedication to Jesus will never go unnoticed.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a very BLESSED day committed to Jesus, it will make your heart smile, peace come once you. Share your commitment to Jesus with someone this week, not with your words but with your actions
Father God guide me today to so all things to bring glory and honor to You AMEN
