It goes on really smooth...you dont have to use much....and if you dont have access to water to rince off it brushes off very easily!

She comes from and was raised in the race horse industry so her knowledge of leg health and rehab is amazing.

Veteran Posts: 212	I had a bow earlier this year and I never painted it.. i had heard it is basically an external blister and kind of irritating for the horse if we are talking about same thing.. Other than maybe like a poultice taking out swelling/ making the leg "tighten", what is the benefit in it? forgive me if i sound ignorant I just wondered that when my horse bowed... good luck either way!

Expert Posts: 2013 Location: Piedmont, OK	I bought some from the track and was warned if there is still heat it will blow up but it will shrink down fast. And I now speak from experience - It really will get huge if there is heat! It is an internal blister. It does shrink fast though. I had one bow in April and you can't even see a bow now. I need to have it ultrasounded but I bred her since she was going to be off for a while.
