You do realize charging to haul a horse can affect your insurance??
yes. but im not hauling. I have a young person that is horse shopping. now I know you all hate to get 100 questions from young people on horses you have for sale but let me tell you a little story from this perspective.
madi is an up and coming equestrian. this kid cant think of anything but horses when her mind is idol. I have challenged her to find a well bred prospect 2-3yo in a price range that wont give her dad heart failure and that if she royally screws up the job bringing a young one along that she isn't going to break the bank. but if she does a good job she should have one to take her through college. She is really figuring horse shopping out at all angles. todays mileage question was that she found a nice 2yo in SD. so I needed her to put a value on shipping a horse 1100 miles instead of just saying well im sure we could get it hauled.
She is learning the value of a dollar. how to look up stats on horses she has never heard of before. race records on equistat, pedigrees, aqha performance records and in the end.... she is gonna have a fenominal eye for really good horses. if you have been one that she has approached about a prospect for sale thank you for the time and patience. and know that your time was not in vain.... you truly have made a difference and are enhancing a young girls horse knowledge.
