Location: South MS | I have a palomino mare that's by Famous Gold Coin and out of a daughter of Sticks and Stones (appendix AQHA). She sustained an injury that's going to sideline her for a while so have decided to breed her. She's got really good conformation, good bone, a disposition that is half "all mare" and half "sweet and loving", feet are not so great (but that's man-made issue). What would be a good cross? She's got a huge motor - speed is not a problem - and she wants to turn. Too smart for her own good. Ideas?

| Nice mare!
I'm not a breeding guru, but with her lines I think I would go with "classic" barrel breeding- probably a son of Firewater Flit, with race on the bottom. |

| Firewaterontherocks. Oops, forgot he is a pally. Tres Fortunes, there are several Frenchmans Guy sons that are not pally, Mr Joe I'm Kool. Lots out there.

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | Nonstop Firewater. His photos online don't do him justice. I don't think you can go wrong with any son of FWF. |

| I've also got a palomino granddaughter of DTF that I'm breeding to PC Lock N Frost. To say I'm excited about this cross would be an understatement! http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/fabulous+to+famous |

| Well a great cross for barrel horses for Master Hand was Dash For Perks.... the great cross for Easy Jet horses was Hempen.....And of course everyone says Dash Ta Fame works magic on Frenchmans Guy.....
So if you could find a son of Frenchmans guy on a DFP/Hempen daughter???? Not sure if there are any....
If you want to go with the Dash For Perks side my pick would be Smoke N Sparks. |

I was just coming to suggest Nonstop Firewater. I love Nonstop, of all the stallions I worked with, he was my favorite. He has a fantastic personality, is absolutely stunning in person, and is just overall an awesome stallion. His babies aren't half bad either with his two NFR qualifiers. Plus Dr. Amy is so awesome to work with. |

Location: South MS | Thanks!! I was actually leaning toward something with FG or FWF.....but I'm also liking a super nice Bully Bullion / Shawne Bug stallion that I've had my eye on since he was a baby - just not sure how she would cross on a son of BB. White Boy (man! ha) - love your FTS filly!! |

That would be Bullseye Bullion, I believe. Nice up and comer. Certainly proven in the pen himself. |
