Mare peeing when running

I've had her ovaries checked back in the spring, had her palpated SEVERAL times and sono twice back in the spring cause she was peeing when she ran and couldn't figure out why she was doing it. The last few months
(since about June/Julyish
) she hasn't been peeing but she also hasn't been running hard. So today I breezed her and she started peeing again. She is not sewn up and someone told me back in the spring to get it done that it would help, but vet said it wouldn't help. Anyone else have any ideas cause I hate the smell!!!!

Suturing will help prevent her uterus from becoming infected. I know of two mares who peed when running and suturing stopped it. Some mares don't need to be sutured but what have you got to lose by having the procedure done?

My mare did it because of pain issues elsewhere, not in her ovaries. I thought for sure it was "girl" issues, but she had an injury that was career ending. Not sure how she even ran with it and never showed lame.

I had a mare that started doing this. Ended up being a career ending issue as well. I wish you the best of luck.
