I don't know if that's what it's called but we went to a wedding this last weekend and they served it with marinated tomatoes and it was SO GOOOOOOD!

Does anyone happen to have a recipe for it? My sister says it's just cottage cheese, vinegar and salt and pepper but my question is how much of each? And is it white vinegar or some other flavor?
