Location: NE Texas | Whole grain diet, alfalfa hay, and Cur-OST Stomach or Total Support. Less than 2 pounds of oats a day, just as a medium to mix the Cur-OST. |

This. I have taken all but my weanlings and senior horses off of grains and just give GastroPLUS on top of soaked alfalfa/beet shreds. |

Location: Piedmont, OK | Low starch feed and lots of alfalfa. I use a splash of aloe vera juice on their feed for ulcers. My vet recommends 1/4 cup twice a day. I also use In the Zone paste by Animal Element before hauling to keep them calm and not irritate their gut. |

Location: Willows, CA | This is a two step process. First, if your horse has ulcers you need to treat them. Using a temporary relief product without curing the ulcers will not pay in the long run. Second, you need to change your management practices so that your horse is less prone to having ulcers return. Eliminate grain based feed. Include some alfalfa in the diet, multiple time per day if possible. Keep some grass hay or pasture available to them at all time. Check teeth four times per year to insure that there are no rough edges on the outside of the upper molars or inside of the lower molars that could be irritating the inside of the cheek or side of the tongue. This is more important than most people realize for full production of saliva for a natural acid buffer, and you need to learn to do this yourself. Eliminating grain can reduce nervous behavior while traveling and at shows. Do all of this, and your horse will be much less prone to ulcers. Doing only most of these things leaves an opening for ulcers to return. |

| best, most cost efficient for me has been abler omeprazole packets. Fixed my horse, she goes off feed without them while hauling. I treated for 2 weeks, maintenance for 2 weeks then only day before and of hauling after that and have not had an issue since. It isn't cheap because Omep just ISNT cheap but its MUCH cheaper than anything else I have found that also has proven research behind it. Also, during hauling season (feb-nov) she is on SmartGut Ultra by smartpak. LOVE that stuff. |

Location: Sunny So Cal | THE GastroPLUS has changed my horse. So grateful for this product. He had terrible ulcers but they were healed quickly and he is so much happier. So glad to have them finally gone and my horse back. I chose GasroPLUS over other products because it was not just for ulcers but also for digestive health. Getting more bang for my buck. :) |
