Name for a noseband?
Am I really the Weirdo?

Last night at a barrel race, I saw someone with a fuzzy looking noseband for their tiedown. It looked like what Michele McLeod used on Kellies Chick at the NFR. A friend suggested that something like that might work well on Clifford, but didn't know what it's called. Any ideas of the name and where I could find one?

Racehorse supply place would probably be your best bet finding one.

And it could just be what is called a caveson cover. Which is just a thin piece of fleece to cover the noseband. A shadow roll comes in different sizes.

Great point. I use a "small" shadow roll on the two that run in one. Simply attaches over an existing noseband with Velcro.

I was considering making one but I found one at Big D's for less than $20 and decided since I'm hardly ever home I might never find the time to actually sew velcro to fleece LOL.
I'm hoping I ordered early enough in the day that it might arrive by Saturday so I can give it a try on Sunday.
