Seen that the easy cloud are slightly cheaper and dont have the frog mold, but curious how they compare to soft rides.  Heard something about the easy cloud possibly rubbing?  I am only looking to use them for hauling in the trailer or standing and not any turnout.  Thoughts or experiences?

If your budget allows for the soft rides, buy them. You won't be sorry. I have 'em and love 'em.

I have not used the Easy Cloud boots.

One of my mares stone bruised and abscessed bad at the end of July.  We bought the easy boot clouds because they were available at a local store.  She wore them for about a month and a half straight.  Other than us taking them off to soak/check her foot.  We did not have any trouble with them rubbing and she walked sound in them compared to not being able to get around without them.  They were well worth what we paid for them.  Have never had soft rides so cannot compare the two, just letting you know our experience with the cloud boots.  The first month she did not have shoes on and the last two weeks she did as we had tried padding her but she still needed the boots.

I have a mare who has lived on soft rides for a week, they were taken off and repositioned twice a day, and they rubbed the back of her feet raw.

It all depends on what your intentions are, for hauling or for a chronic foot sore horse.

Hauling they won't be on log enough to rub.

I am interested in trying the clouds, I don't think the frog support is a necessity. I know some people who have shaved off the frog mold in the soft rides.

I ordered a pair of the easy clouds since it will only be for hauling purposes. I will update once i start using. I'm just going to start with buying for the front feet and see how it goes

If there is rubbing in either boot it is because they are too big or too small! Have Soft Rides for all my horses and I very carefully measured them so that they would be a perfect fit and have had no trouble for years

Love love love my soft rides. Best money I ever spend for hauling as long as we do! She has the full set (all four) and if I'm hauling at all even for short rides, I slap those puppies on.

I have a pair of both, and am really liking the clouds over the soft rides. I have the soft rides on a shod horse though and the clouds on one that's barefoot so I'm not sure how I would feel if they were switched. I'd be more likely to buy another pair of clouds before soft rides though. Both mine have been left on long term and neither has rubbed at all, as long as your fit is correct I don't think either should. The clouds are easier to get on and off for me, and seem to be holding up really well to the long term wear.

Those of you who have the clouds- Is the size chart accurate? I ordered a pair of 3's last week. Hopefully they are a good fit!!
