| I have a mare due last week in Feb who is not maiden but is not showing at all right now. I'm having her checked next week but I am really having my doubts right now. My other mare is HUGE but she is huge without being bred usually lol. The mare that isn't showing is not being rode but gets an insane amount of exercise because she runs around playing most of the day.
Are your girls "big" yet? |

| I have a mare that is a very easy keeper, that is bigger now -and I haven't weaned her colt yet - than she was the day she delivered. She stays pretty small until she has the colt, then lets herself go |

Location: Bama | I have two due in February/March and one due in mid April. The two due in Feb are large, but then again, they are always FAT. The mare due in April looks fit and not bred. I had her palpated about two months ago, and she is cooking a little monster. |

Location: Durango CO | My mare is due in May and she only shows when the baby is on one side. Otherwise she doesn't look pregnant at all. She is not a maiden mare either. |

Location: So. Cali. | Attaching a photo of my mare. She is also due end of Feb/Beginning of March, but she's a maiden. I made comment recently to a friend that I thought she'd be bigger by now, or maybe its just because I see her every day that I dont think she's that 'big'. Needless to say the friend came by and assured me she's huge. I think we have a harder time seeing it when we see them on a daily basis

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Mine aren't due until mid May to mid June. They are heavy enough I can tell they are in foal. If they have foaled vs how recently vs how many can also play a part in how big they get. |

| I was in your situation last year. I ended up having her checked around Christmas and she wasn't in foal. She's Prego now though..I can tell for sure. She's due end of March. |

| My 'FAT GIRLS' are enjoying a year of freedom since they were ruled already ovulated due to late attempt because of flooded roads, bridges washed out and just plain nasty weather ...
Yep one look and they look PG ... but they are still running around squealing and bucking every time a boy horse is worked on the training track next door ... they would sure love to be asked out on a date ... lol ..

Location: Oklahoma | I've got 2 due beginning of April. One is a maiden, one is not. Both are HUGE. This picture is from 11/4. The buckskin is my stud (excuse his fatness). The roan in the middle is the maiden... got her from Cross Spur... and the Sorrel on the end is our other mare.

| I have one due in early February and she's pretty big. Another due in late May and she's getting a little more round than usual, but she doesn't look large and in charge like the grey! I'll try to post a pic

| My mare due in late March and not being worked at all doesn't look bred at all. Starting to doubt that she is, but this is her second and she was the same with the first till maybe a month out and then she went 356 days so she was pretty big at the end and had a huge filly, but never looked uncomfortable like a lot of them do at the end. She's a big mare with a lot of room though. |
