Location: California | Is she into horses? I was going to suggest the Heartland book series (which also has a TV show now)

| I would suggest asking her what types of books she likes to read, and if she has any titles she wants. I know as a teen, I had a list of books I wanted to complete series that I had started, and had certain genres that I liked reading. I wouldn't go by suggestions, just simply for the fact that she may have read them, or that she may not like that type of book. Also make sure and ask her who else she's told to buy books, then she won't get multiple titles of the same book. (I've had that happen.) And be very careful about choosing what she says....I've had people find the author and buy books I've already had, when I gave them a specific list. :/ |

Amazon also offers you suggestions of similar books based on your browsing history. For example, my sister-in-law has been reading The Hunger Games and so I'm going to Amazon to look for similar books. If I pull up The Hunger Games series books, Amazon will give me suggestions of other books and I'll shop from that list. |
