With God all things are possible

| Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness combined with our faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I hate to admit this, but sometimes I nag God. I sometimes whine and complain about situations in my life. Ironically, one of the things I insistently ask for is peace.
By peace, though, I typically mean that I'd like Him to take care of things that are not easy for me, to change the behavior of people who annoy me, to get rid of my struggles .
Which probably just makes Him laugh. Jesus never promised an easy life; in fact He told us we'd have troubles? But we can be at peace in the midst of those troubles because when our faith collides with His faithfulness , we're " made righteous " with God. He sees us differently. The things that would disrupt our relationship are gone. It is this unhindered relationship , not our circumstances , that gives us peace.
I'm learning to live in peace that already exist in that relationship, and to pray for peace, not to erase conflict, but peace that will equip me to cope with less than ideal situations.
The word peace, which appears in all but two of the books in the New Testament, is most often used as a greeting : grace (favor) and peace to you! It describes not just an absence of do flint but harmonious relationships , and contentment that comes from that relationship.
Jesus is the source of peace for our souls, and for our world. When we have peace in our hearts, we can be peacemakers in the world.
Do you have peace with God through Jesus? If you have put your faith in Him, you do, even if you do t feel it all the time. What do you need to so today to live in that peace?
I'm beginning to understand the closer I become to Jesus, the more Satan try's to block my peace. I have to keep my focus on Jesus, not my situation, to keep peace in my heart.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
