I have tried sulfur, tick powder for dogs, and I wormed them about 3 weeks ago.
They are horrible. They drop out of the trees when the weather turns cold which has now happened twice this season. then they get big and fat and we have to spend an hour pulling them off just to ride. |

No advice from me but gross gross grosss, have you asked your vet, maybe they can give you an ideal on what to do... |

| This happens to mine in spring summer. Not winter. However my vet told me to use frontline and start at the poll and work your way down the neck. But check with your vet. |

They only get bad in the fall & winter for me. Happens every year when it turns cold.
If the dogs would leave chickens alone, that would be a huge problem solver, but they won't. |

Flies, Gnats and mosquitoes??? With no winter to speak of this winter and all of the rain, I am thinking the mosquitoes are going to be awful this spring. Going to have to check this stuff out. |

Move to North Dakota. We don't have that problem in the winter.
All kidding aside, they were horrible this past summer. I got some Frontline (for horses) from my vet and that helped out a lot. |
