Regular Posts: 77	Thoughts on a Martin saddle. I'm looking at trying one. The cactus didn't fit my flat backed horse with no withers. What type of horse do you feel a martin will fit? Any opinions would be great!

Elite Veteran Posts: 639 Location: God's country...aka TEXAS	If you have a wide, flat backed horse- you will need to get the martin with flat bars. Otherwise it will be too narrow with their standard tree.

Expert Posts: 2122 Location: The Great Northwest	The saddle made by Martin should have a #. You should call Martin and find out the location of the serial number. They can give you the specs on the saddle when they know the number on it.
