Who uses these on a regular basis for your horses you are running? If so, who does it, a holistic vet, or some other practitioner. I had accupuncture on mine yesterday. I did it on another horse years ago, but now these 2 therapies seem almost like a maintenance thing if you're hauling much.

My vet is a Doctor of Ostepathy that adjusts my barrel horses And I try to follow it up a week later with acupuncture. I think it helps the adjustments hold better. M

I do. Nothing like climbing on a freshly popped by a professional barrel horse...
I only use people with a large clientele base, like Butch Mayhugh in San Antonio for massage, or someone with a PHD in chiro with an animal cert, or a Veterinarian with the chiro certs.
I've discovered that spending time to find the right person for the job makes all the difference. Fly by nights and learned in the back yard people don't get my business

I'm using a vet that has transitioned out of a large, hectic vet clinic to a holistic farm practice. Another girl at my barn has used her twice for adjustments and laser, and I've done accupuncture and laser once. My horse is recovering from surgery, so not riding yet, but the one treatment got a really animated response out of him, in a good way. She's knowledgeable and in watching her a few times with the other horse, I've noticed she's more gentle in her approach than some of the stuff I've witnessed at big barrel races....YIKES! some of those are downright scary.
She's coming again for mine in 2 weeks, and maybe then space out to a monthly basis.
So, next question is who does on an as needed bases and who does the monthly maintenance.

I usually get my horse adjusted especially since she injured her foot because she compensΓ’tes alot with her hip. Technically, you should not have to chiro your horse more than twice a year. If he is always out in the same places, often times they need massage therapy because the muscles are pulling the bones out of place. Chiro and massage therapy go together
