NBHA Side Pots?

Does anyone know how the NBHA side pots for men and women work? It looks like on the super show form you check it off and pay $25 extra for open. How does the pay out work?

RE: NBHA Side Pots?
I believe that you would pay the extra fee to run in a side pot
(either men or women
) and then your time from the open 4D would carry over to the side pot, and it would payout as a 4D for each go the same as the open....but not totally sure. I would think they would post more information on it somewhere. :

The divisions are determined based on the fast time of the contestants that are entered in the Side Pot. So if it is Senior Side Pot, the fastest Senior wins the 1D and determines the other division winners.

Common Sense and then some
Location: So. California
Your open time carries over to the side pot. Depending upon what the side pot is for, it could be a 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D payout. The fastest time of the rider entered in the side pot wins the 1D and the divisional payout starts from there.
For example - you are running in the Open jackpot with a side pot for youth.
The winning time is of Open is 15.000
(an adult rider
) the fastest youth rider
(entered in the side pot
) is a 15.200
Open Divisional payout starts at 15.000 = 1D
Youth side pot payout starts at 15.200 = 1D
