Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | The subject line kind of says it all. Looking for something fun and different to do for the SO's birthday next weekend. I am kind of on a budget with just moving, buying a house, needing surgery and just starting a new job. I really want to do one of those paint and drink classes but don't know if he would really enjoy that. Send any info my way. Must be withing an hour or 1 1/2 hours from Stephenville. |

It's random - but I love going to Fossil Rim outside of Glen Rose and feeding all the critters. When's the last time you got to feed a zebra? They've got a great assortment of beautiful animals from all over, it's great entertainment for a few hours. |

I would love to do this and he would probably go if we had kids but I am afraid it would probably bore him to death otherwise... Will probably have to take the nieces one day. |

Location: Texas | You can take him to the Stockyards in Fort Worth and spend the night, although thats not very budget friendly.
If he's a history buff, he might enjoy the Texas Rangers Museum in Waco. |

Location: The edge of no where | It's a day time deal, but we're also going to watch barrel slack at the American Semi-Finals the 18th... do lunch somewhere good and then the World's Greatest Horseman that afternoon in Fort Worth. It's cheap and we both love watching great horses. The finals for the World's Greatest deal are Feb 20th. |

If I didn't have to work we would be there for slack. I think I will buy us tickets to one of the Semi-Finals perfs. I am pretty sure he bought us ticket for the Finals for my birthday which is a week after his. ?Rodeo and a nice dinner, what more could a man ask for?? :) |

I'm burning a vacation day for slack :-/ We went last year and it was fun to watch. Probably the toughest barrel race I've ever seen. If I had enough vacation we'd go back and watch team roping too.
