I bought this mare a few months ago. We are still getting to know each other. She has an attitude--not marey just kind of bratty all the time haha, is kind of a busy body at the trailer or basically anytime I tie her, learns quickly, but will run her absolute heart out for me every single trip. Currently running about a second off with me but she has so much more. She does get fidgety before a run, but nothing uncontrollable. She slow works beautifully and will ride all day and be calm as a cucumber, but if I breeze her through the pattern once she is a bit of a handful for longer than I would like and it's like I cant get her mind right afterwards. I'm thinking that more insight into her bloodlines may help me deal with her quirks a little better. I'm familiar with Dash for Cash, and Bugs Alive in 75, but not any of the others. Any info is appreciated! Thanks y'all

| Three O's is not sloppy. the horse goes back to Sonny's Halo who won the Kentucky Derby. There are a few others that have some merit too. |

Location: Missouri | I own the full brother to your mare's dam. I couldn't be more jealous! I've been looking everywhere for anything bred similarly! Congratulations!!! I acquired my Bugs on a trade a few years ago (and got the much better end of the deal!) I am still running him some at 22 years old. He ran in the 1D with 200+ entries early this winter, but we generally land in the 3D. He has chronic arthritis in his knees and is all heart and try! He's a big, goofy boy and has been such a blessing! He is go, go, go but very sweet and kind. I have spent all my time getting him to relax and calm down. He will now stand absolutely flat-footed at the gate and not move a muscle until it's time go. When I first got him, he was spooky and would sit back when tied. He is so much better now... just lots of quiet, calm, patience (and treats!) and he would do anything for me! My understanding is that Fancy Ohs was bred by Ed and Martha Wright. My boy was never transferred out of Dale Youree's name. He was run for several years by another BB, who could probably help more since she had him in his younger years. Congrats, again! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine!

| OMG they look just alike!! They have the same sweet face!!
She is a little spooky, too. I have been working with her on that and she is getting much better. She has a HUGE personality and gets jealous when I mess with the other horses by pinning her ears and pawing or dancing around to get my attention. She will toss her head and squeal at me if that doesn't work. She is usually the first one to walk up to me in the pasture ESPECIALLY if I start petting someone else.
I do try and slow work her a lot under saddle during the week and make sure she stays calm before a run, otherwise she just goes in there guns a-blazing and past the first barrel we go!!
Thank you so much for responding, I'm glad to see there's someone else out there with some experience with this line and he's still running some at 22!

I assumed ours were related when I saw the name, but knew for sure when I saw the picture! lol! You may already know, but Molly Powell ran Firewater Kat in the 2007 NFR ($150,000 earning, grandson to Fancy Ohs.) I think I remember seeing a for sale ad for him a little while ago. Not sure where he ended up.
