Veteran Posts: 144	An acquaintance is having problems with this seller. Has anyone else had any problems with her? Her name is Melisa Sue Smith. I'll post her story and proof. There are also other including someone who bought a set after choosing a hide and received it to find out its duct tape. "I would like everyone to know the situation I'm dealing with currently. I ordered a custom set from GotBling By Melisa Sue on Christmas Eve. I paid through PayPal two deposits one for 150 then one for 315$ wich totals out to 465$ to have a custom set done of a headstall, breast collar stirrups and wither strap. I just literally recieved the set yesterday and when I opened it up it was done completely wrong. It was supposed to have the same hide that was used for the fringe, and instead it came with glued on "sealed" tinsil like paper vinyl. I never asked anything about a refund but as you can see in my messages she offered A FULL REFUND to send everything back. Then she stopped replying after I told her I would do it. I then wake up to the message stating she won't refund because people started bad mouthing her, not me, but other people. You can clearly see from the pic of everything with her name on it that the set did not look that bad from the photo she sent me of it. She told me she used 100% Amish leather, and come to find out she took a part a showman set (wich u can still see the white cowhide on the back of the brow band) and she put together this set. She has lied out her ass to me and now I'm out 465 bucks. I will be contacting PayPal today to see if they will dispute it. I will also be contacting showman to let them know what she is doing to there sets. Please DO NOT BUY from Melissa sue smith. I am not the first she has done this to, but I am the one who has gotten screwed over the most." Veteran Posts: 144	It wasn't me that placed the order but a FB friend. MSS has quite a few rabid followers. Tack set owner is still trying to find a way to get her money back. PayPal no longer offers buyer's protection on custom items and told her to try her bank.

Regular Posts: 67	I may be mistaken (don't hold me to this statement) but I think shes also the one that took a hair-on set made by someone else and glued an overlay on top of it. Charged the girl $400. No stitching, obviously the overlay will not stick to the hair and it was not a smooth cover. As a small time leather shop owner I feel like this is the sort of thing that gives us little people a bad rep. Some of us care deeply about what the product looks like and wants to be proud when we see it in the arena. I sure hope everything is made right for yall soon.
