Mine are almost 2 years old and still in good shape. I only wear them in the saddle tho. Maybe you got some that escaped QC? I also had a pair of Justin Gypsy's that didn't last. The insides were falling apart and the boot was pretty cheap. I bought them at TSC. I switched back to Ariat, but this time Fat Babies. I like them when I work, but hate them while riding. The soles are entirely too thick and I feel like I need to drop my stirrups down to accomodate them. I need a boot with a thinner sole.
