Huh? I'm no geneticist, but I just assumed that, if the daddy was roan, it is a color possibility. Or, if they have some roan in their pedigree, for that matter.... tell me more.

Ok, I just looked up Blazin Jetolena and, I saw there was no roan anywhere. So, I kinda get why you said that. But, couldn't the mom have roans in her lineage, and a roan baby?

I just did some online color calculations and every combination with a Roan Stallion, gave a possibility of a roan offspring. And a Homozygous Roan to solid mare threw Roan like 99% of the time. I love color, but don't really know a lot, just love to read about it.
