I need to find a good trainer for my four year old in TX. He needs miles and exposure. Hes broke with a nice handle but spooky. He needs to be used ranch wise, or roping, who ever can get him exposure. Hes been hauled but downright dangerous when he spooks. Would like references. Thanks!

Snodgress Cattle Company of Facebook just send their young ones off. There are videos of them working the land and learning to use. I wouldn't hesitate to send one to the trainer they use.

Mark Chestnut in Whitesboro is the best for a spooky colt.  He is a well known cutting trainer that we have break all of our colts, they will have a foundation on them that will never go away.  He is very kind to them but will get a hold of them if need be.  They will never be mistreated with him.  He likes to keep them 6 months and it is well worth it.  Mark will round pen, teach them to tie, load, work on the cattle.  I can't say enough about him and you will get your horse back sane and the horse will be well taken care of.  Some horse breakers send the colts home very skinny so they won't get one of mine.  You can PM for his number if interested.
