I use Exceed 6-Way by MVP. Covers hooves, joints, skin/coat, gastric support, muscles, and digestion. Guaranteed to work in 60 days and veterinarian recommended. My horses love it and look/feel better. I'm an ambassador and can get you an itroductory offer if you're interested.
Completely agree. Love Exceed 6-way! 2 month difference. He had lost a lot of muscle from getting Anaplasmosis early last summer and I just couldnt get him back to "healthy" looking, no matter how much I fed or what I did.

I currently feed Platinum Perf CJ and all of a sudden my mare won't eat a powder like form of anything. I am not sure what happened. They are herbs, but unlike any 'powder' I've fed before. I have a mare in my barn that will not eat powder but licks her pan clean of Cur-OST.
I'm glad you said that and hope it's true for mine! I haven't started my horse on it yet but the human form I got for myself is hard to force down...
Both my horses hated powdered supplements but both lick their buckets clean now that they are on Cur-OST. One of mine is on 4 of the formulas and still only gets about a pound of oats, she eats all her Cur-OST first then goes back for her oats and flax. Yes it did take both of them a couple days to realize it wasn't poison but after that they eat every last bit. |

Location: NE Texas | I gagged at the sink for the first week trying to take it at first, but now I crave it actually. A blender bottle is a MUST!!! I started with grape juice but now only use about a cup of OJ and actually enjoy it. LOL I would have done whatever it took to get it down to get the benefit though....my allergies are GONE after having to deal with them my entire life, taking allergy shots as a kid, steroid shots every year, and CLaritin D or Zyrtec D every day of my life. So happy to no longer have to deal with that. |

Location: South Central Florida | We actually use 2 different companies. Animal Element Detox and InTheZone. ITZ is the best thing ever for getting our horse to drink on the road. DAC Race mineral for the bleeder, and she has not bled through it. I do use Lasix when it is really hot, but prior she bled through the lasix. And DAC prerace paste.
Each product does something different for the mare and I love them both. She has been running and winning on both these products for several years now. I think she has been on the Animal Element for about 5 years and the DAC for about 4. So I'm not a jump on the bandwagon suppliment type.
We also feed flax seeds, which I don't think are the type of suppliment your talking about but they have been on a cup of flax seeds (all my horses) for 5 or 6 years I think. Lots of reasons for that, but 1 is that I live in Florida, we have great pasture but no matter where you are, you have a lot of sand. One of the things Flax seeds do is turn into a jelly and pull sand out of the gut. Have not had a sand problem since I started that AND I put about a cup every 6 months in my 100 lb water tanks. It sprouts on top and somehow prevents or slows algie growth. That was amazing to me and a total accident. Horses were dropping seeds into the water and it started to grow, then I noticed the tanks with flax seeds had little or no algie...since then I make sure there is plenty of flax in my water tanks. |

Umm sorry but it looks like the same horse without a winter coat. I would think it would be more effective to take before/after pics with just summer coat in both to really see any difference. :) |

HMM...interesting you cant see the change. Overall better top line and huge improvements in the hind muscling (more rounded than angular, like the before). Youre probably right, the pictures would look better if he had a summer coat in each one. But considering I live up North and I started feeding the product Fall/Winter time, it was nice to see the change and muscle improvements my eyes could see! |

I started with more liquid and still felt like it was sooo overpowering that I've been taking it in grape juice like a shot.. just to get it over with.. and half the time with my nose plugged... |

It has not gotten any better for me! Haha, I actually haven't taken it every single day because of that, but I'm working on it. |

I typically agree with posters like oija as 90% of the before and after pictres seem to be in the winter and summer after a horse has shed out. But I have to agree with you, I can see a noticable difference in your horse. Much more fuller top line and overall muscling. And in reality when comparing your before and after pictres, your before pictures appear to be of him slicked off later in the fall and after pictures are when he has a bit of a winter coat. So that kinda debunks the theory that he looks better in spring without the winter coat.
I've never used this supplement, but it looks like it's working on yours! |

1/2 cup whole flax seed if it's considered a supplement.

Same here, I do add in a few oz. Of healthy coat oil to get everything to stick. |

| I used to use Platinum Performance CJ, and thought it worked great--except my mare didn't really like it and wouldn't eat it all. I felt like I was wasting 90% of it. So I decided to switch to DAC products and am glad I did. My horses eat it all up, look awesome, and are running great! I feel they are very comparable, except to my wallet- I saved a lot of money by switching. |
