You may want to think about using a humidifier during the winter. Often that helps with the dry skin issue....

Sometimes less is more with dry skin... less fragrances and "additives", something mild.  I use an unscented Dove moisturizing bar, cocoa butter lotion. Less hot water on your skin and a humidifier!

I've always had dry skin that I had to completely moisturize my body with lotion head to toe at least twice a day and had to do elbows, shoulders, knees, ankles and feet multiple times in between.  For some reason I tried Aveeno once and it changed my life.  I use both the Avenno body wash in the shower and then put Aveeno lotion all over after the shower and I'm good until my next shower, with the exception of my hands.  I carry a small Aveeno in my purse to use after I wash my hands.  I won't spend money on any other brand of lotion or body wash now.
I also sleep with a humidifier whenever it's to cold to sleep witht he windows open

Hands down Aveeno - it is pricey but you dont have to use as much product. The body wash actually suds up without having to use half the bottle and the lotion you dont have to use as much. I dont have super dry skin but I was on a quest for a body soap that actually suds up without having to keep reapplying to a loufa, I bought Aveeno stress relief body wash and lotion and I could 100% tell a difference in the quality! My skin was still very moisturized by my next shower. Highly recommend.

I recently switched to the Avon Moisture Therapy brand and love it. I could tell a difference instantly. I switched because I'm pregnant and trying really hard not get stretch marks. So I moisturize like an addict. I use the Intensive healing and repair but they also have a calming relief w/ oatmeal that might help you. Worth looking at. www.youravon.com/aubreysmith and shipping is free if you spend over $40 bucks. good luck

I don't know if anyone has already posted it, but I use coconut oil in the shower. I make up a sugar+coconut oil scrub, rub it on and rinse it off. Then pat yourself dry (no rubbing) with towel. I have dry, sensitive skin and this has me looking normal!! Lotions and scented soaps make me dry out and rash after a few uses.

L'Occitaine lemon verbena bar soap. Yes, it's a bar but it blows any other body wash out of the water. It's $10 but will last 6 months+ I can even shave with it.

Where do you buy this at? Iv never even heard of it.

I linked Amazon and their website. Sephora and Nordstrom also carry it. Nordstrom has free shipping FYI. Looks like the price went up to $14. It really last a very long time if you use a loofah. They also have a milk and lavender scent, but the lemon verbena is my favorite. It's a very mild lemon scent. When we went to Mexico our hotel had these soaps and products in the rooms and we got hooked on it.
