Martin BTR Question

How are the stirrups hung on these saddles? All the ads say is that they have forward hung stirrups on them. But are the stirrup leathers run up over the tree and create a bump on the underside of the bars? Or is there a slot for the stirrup leather to settle into? Just curious, I've been in the market for a new saddle and am wondering how the stirrups on these are hung!

I would call Martin direct. I'm sure they could answer this for you.

I had an FX3 with the SPRS rigging
(like the BTRs have
) and I didn't feel like there was anything creating a bump. I'm not sure exactly how they do it but you can see in the pics that the underside of the stirrup fenders is further forward. I found it helps keep your feet forward where they won't get behind you. I'm sure a Martin rep could give you more of the details on how it's done though.
