| I bought a new pair from someone not a dealer..anyhow I read the directions, but do you vibrate as well as ice? Or do one or the other? Also, pre race vibe or ice or just after a work out? I want to use them correctly, but not sure just "when" to use them, as I'm not dealing with any injury at the moment. Thanks. |

I just use them after workouts to ice & use the vibration setting for 20 min. |

| You can use them in any combination, before or after a workout.
Let's see if I can remember the tips that came with mine....
You can use just the vibe without the ice pre-workout to get the blood flowing.
You can vibe with or without ice post workout. (I use the ice packs post workout)
You're supposed to start on the lowest setting, and then work your way up. So start with the 10 min low setting for a few days, then to the 20 min low, then the 20 min high.
Good luck, I LOVE mine! |

Location: Piedmont, OK | The dealer I bought mine from suggested using them pre-run vibration only without the ice and after a run with ice and vibration |

Location: Oregon | Ice Vibe & Sportz Vibe are great as a warm up tool….they have a 20 minute run cycle. Use them as a warm up to loosen their muscles and get the blood flowing (especially important in their hooves when the ground is hard or horses aren’t used to standing in stalls or tied to a trailer) Warm up is without the gel pack. After a run, you want to put the boots on as quickly as you can with ice. The sooner you get the blood cooled and circulating the less chance of injury or swelling. |

| I was also wondering can they be used on the back legs? Do people rotate like that? Or do they make a set just for backs? |

Yes you can do backs as well. Some customers just rotate, some buy another set. |

I used to rotate....but it was easier to just buy another set. I really like these for after workouts. |

Location: Alberta | I have just been using the hock boots lately. I put them on before a race and notice a huge difference in my horse. He absolutely loves them!! The hock boots I put them on the 20 minute low and the ones i put on his fronts I put on for the 10 minute cycle. the cool gel packs are great post workout/run. I don't use them much because I don't have a fridge in my trailer or barn so at home I would be running back to the house to get them which is a bit of a hassle. I would definitely buy another set to use on his hinds! |
