| The palmist was facing trouble. He was restless because the voice of the enemy and the pressure of the wicked. Someone bore a grudge of hate against him. Anyone who has been faithful about seriously living for God has known trouble from others. What do we do?
David was in such anguish he longed to give in and flee the situation.
However, The Lord does not call us to flee bit to live faithfully. We are not to run but to stand. Do not take the cowards road , but if d courage in God.
In the book " The Traveler's Gift, David goes on a great journey. Along the way, when he is in a tough situation and doesn't know what to do, he meets the angel Gabriel. " Circumstances are the rulers of the weak" says Gabriel. "but they are weapons of the wise"
David ponder learns his emotions and resolve are not controlled by circumstances. To persist without exception becomes his battle cry.
Do not long for the wings of the dove to carry you today, PERSIST!
Psalm 55:1-11.
Give ear to my prayer, O God, And do not hide Yourself from my supplications . 6 So I said, Oh, that I had wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Father God, guide me today to do all things that being glory and honor to You.
