For those of you who have your feed a custom mix, what is it made of and why do you choose those particular ingredients? Why do you go with a custom mix over name brand feeds such as Nutrena, Purena, Renew Gold etc?
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for answering! What are the volumes of each ingredient and how much does it cost you to have it made in bulk? I know prices are gonna vary by location but it might give me a rough estimate of what to expect if I wanted to go that route. How are your horses doing on it?
