Oh wow, after only 30 days?? Glad its working!! Mine were both 15 months apart, but I could tell my colts was " Wearing off" at about 11-12 months. I was in denial that he needed it again and I felt guilty after reading Herbie's post on the side effects. I actually returned it to my vet in January and tried the natural route. After trying Curost Pure and several other options, I finally went ahead with it. My colt was SOUND before giving it but it really works so there must be something we missed. Vet said I could haul him to vet hospital and pay $10,000 for nuclear scan and they would find my " ANswer" weather it was a small spur you can't see on xray etc or something. Then treatment would still be the same... SOOOOOOOO It worked last year so I gave it again. I wont wait as long this time. I told her that if he breaks a leg 10 years from now then fine, I'm not feeding him all these years. He needs a job and has a job to do... Its my job to make that as comfortable as possible. |

I guess my vet went to a seminar on Osphos not long ago and that's why I gave the Osphos and 30 days later gave it again. He won't get it again for 1 year. Vet said they were have better outcomes with this protocol, so that's what I did. I still have him on EQ Total and he does look great! I think he looks the best right now then I've seen in a long time. He was so relaxed trotting and loping. Normally he's trying to always go faster and on the bit. Not yesterday, he picked up his leads perfect and was almost western pleasure loping!! LOL But I could tell he had some speed there. |
