Good quality? Bad Quality? Do they hold up a long time? Pictures would be awesome too!

Thanks-I couldn't find much information about them online anywhere as far as reviews or what they are worth used-anyone else?

Corriente would be a much better option if you are looking for something that works that is inexpensive.

My personal opinion, don't buy Alamo. The last one I looked at in the tack store you could feel the screws through the bottom of the leather and the padding under was the very thick. Very cheaply made in my opinion. For anow inexpensive saddle, corriente is a nice brand. You can get a new one for under $700. My daughter bought a custom one last year and it was really nice work. You may want to check out pro rider, bronco billy, or triple creek as well. Not really sure what your budget is.

Have you looked into the Corriente saddles? They would be a lot better pick then a Alamo.

Junk !
I would go with Corriente, if your wanting something nice and not wanting to spend a lot. They have a new line out and also have the cow puncher stirrups as well.

I ordered one not to long ago, waiting on it to come in. I tweaked mine a little, to fit my black horse. I think they are just as pretty.
My CJ's & my Martin didn't fit Rowdy, from what I remember when I had a Corriente it fitted everything I used it on. Plus the company is very nice to work with.

So Corrientes have a great universal fit? I haven't ever looked in to them before, but browsed through their website just now. Are they good sturdy saddles?
ETA: I am really looking for a saddle that will last me a long time-I take really good care of all my tack. I want something that fits my gelding well, and something simple, not too flashy. Looking to spend probably no more than $1600 shipped.

Just ordered my first Corriente saddle and the customer service was great and easy!! Can't wait for it to come in! Also their shipping time is very quick. Can't wait to show it on BHW once it gets here!

My sister has won several. I occasionally use one of hers. They fit a good majority of horses. Of course with any saddle, there is always the exception. They are well built for the price. We just ordered an association for starting colts because they are sturdy and budget friendly. My husband ordered it on a Monday evening and it was at the door Thursday evening.

The one thing I would suggest is to oil the crap out of them when they first arrive.

I won a Corriente and love it!! My mare bucked with my 2 previous saddles, turns out saddles didn't fit her quite right but she has yet to buck because of saddle fit with the Corriente.

Ditto!

I sold my Courts to upgrade for a Double J and now I wish I could get it back.
